>Image via WikipediaI love summertime…and so far this summer has not let me down. I have truly enjoyed the time off from school. I have connected with my children and really worked on “being present” in each and every moment with them. We have enjoyed time together doing fun “summer” things, and even just doing the normal every day things as well. They are so much fun to be around and it has been very cool to watch them grow from day to day. Our time together has made me treasure them even more…and I am so thankful for being able to be with them each and every day during this season. The other amazing thing about this summer vacation has been the free time to develop my creative side. Brian and I – through Faith Passage – have spent the last year writing and performing and it has been unbelievable…but this summer has afforded me the opportunity to push myself a bit further and challenge myself in positive ways. I feel a renewed energy and excitement about our music and a lot of that is due to being able to devote carefree time to the creative process. We are excited about the chance to play many shows this summer and to share new music, meet amazing new people, and share our faith. I thank God everyday for blessing me with a job that allows me to be home during summer. So far, this time has been energizing, relaxing, creative, and so much more. Love me some sweet summertime!
